The Place by CCI28 est labélisé Centre Européen d'Entreprise et d'Innovation depuis 2012 par le réseau European BIC Network (EBN). Ce réseau est reconnu par l'Union Européenne comme « le réseau des incubateurs et structures dédiées à l'innovation en Europe » et, depuis plusieurs années, dans le monde entier. Ce réseau est constitué de 170 CEEI dans le monde, dont une trentaine sur le territoire national. En 2018, Le CEEI-Chartres a obtenu le prolongement de son label. Les CEEI sont des structures reconnues pour la qualité et l'efficacité de leurs actions en faveur des entreprises innovantes (85 % des projets accompagnés par un CEEI sont pérennes à 5 ans contre 50 % dans le cas contraire). The Place a un périmètre régional et, selon les critères EBN, est compétent sur l'ensemble du territoire de la Région Centre-Val de Loire. Depuis 2018, The Place by CCI28 est également membre du réseau national RETIS, réseau des technopôles et incubateurs de l'innovation en France. Enfin The Place est également une des composantes de la French Tech en Région Centre-Val de Loire, French Tech Loire Valley et Beauty Tech Chartres.
