The University of Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV) conducts basic and applied 3D research. In this context, its objective is to work on 3D scanning systems and their contribution in different application fields. One of the examples is the contributions of digital technology to architectural heritage and vice versa. The stakes are numerous: the constitution of digital corpuses for archiving, backup, scientific study, monitoring, restoration... The E-Cathedral programme or the “Patrimoine in silico”, which the MIS Research Unit has been conducting since 2010, deals precisely with these issues and has enabled it to gain solid experience in this field. This experience was made possible thanks to equipment financed by the Region and the CPER. This work allows the MIS laboratory to display several national and international collaborations through bilateral, ANR and European projects. (English)

    L'Université de Picardie Jules Verne (UPJV) mène des recherches fondamentales et appliquées en 3D. Dans ce cadre, son objectif est de travailler sur les systèmes de numérisation 3D et leur apport dans différents champs applicatifs. L'un des exemples, concerne les apports du numérique au patrimoine architectural et réciproquement. Les enjeux sont nombreux : la constitution de corpus numériques pour l'archivage, la sauvegarde, l'étude scientifique, le suivi, la restauration ... Le programme E-Cathédrale ou le « Patrimoine in silico », que l'Unité de Recherche MIS mène depuis 2010, traite précisément ces questions et lui a permis d'acquérir une solide expérience dans ce domaine. Cette expérience a été rendue possible grâce aux équipements financés par la Région et par le CPER. Ces travaux permettent au laboratoire MIS d'afficher plusieurs collaborations nationales et internationales au travers de projets bilatéraux, ANR et européens. (French)
