Comme les autres équipements de la plateforme, le MALDI-TOF/TOF MS représente un matériel performant, utilisé dans le cadre de prestations en appui aux activités d'entreprises locales, nationales, et d'universités du monde entier dans le domaine biomédical. Cet instrument permet de travailler sur des quantités extrêmement faibles d'échantillon (moins d'un millionième de litre), et donc de limiter drastiquement les effluents d'expériences. (French)
