1\. **_Training_**. The formation of the regiment is organised as follows: * military training representing 30 % of the overall hourly volume. It integrates initial general training, field trips and exercises, citizen training, sport, ceremonies and authority visits; * vocational training representing 70 % of the hourly volume. It includes, in addition to vocational training, refresher training, driving school instruction, periods of application in companies, application sites, first aid training. Permissions and sports sessions are distributed over the 2 hourly volumes according to the same percentages. This represents a total volume of: * 1,984 hours for a 12-month training cycle; * 1,653 hours for a 10-month training cycle; * 992 hours for a training cycle of 6 months. 2\. _**Vocational training pathways**_. The regiment provides training in 20 sectors grouped within 11 clusters of activities spread over the 2 sites of Cayenne and Saint-Jean du Maroni. In Saint-Jean du Maroni: * the Public Works division with the sector “conductor of public works machinery”, * the Building Trades division with the sectors “mason”, “carrener”, “builder”, “sanitary installer/plomberie”, “building maintenance agent” and “electrician of equipment”, * the Land trades cluster with the sectors “maintenance of green spaces” and “hortgrowers”; * the Mechanical division with the “automotive maintenance agent” and “small machinery” sectors; * the Graduates/Remobilisation to Employment cluster with the “upgrading/employability of secondary trades” and Non-graduating sectors. In Cayenne: * the Transport/logistics cluster with the “All Transport Driver” (PL, TC) sector; * the Tertiary division with the “early childhood” and “shop shopkeeper” sectors; * the Security division with the “prevention and security agent” sector; * the catering division with the “multi-purpose catering agent” sector; * the Building Trades division with the building maintenance agent sector; * the Graduates/Remobilisation division towards employment with the sector “upgrading/employability occupations of the tertiary sector”. The choice of setting up these courses is made every year during the development council carried out with all the decision-makers of the Guyanese department, under the chairmanship of Mr. the Prefect of Guyana. Thus, the regiment is constantly seeking to adapt the training offered to potential opportunities or sectors in development in the Guyanese territory. 3\. _**The career path**_. The standard course is for 12, 10 and 6 months depending on the training. The 6-month training is for young graduate trainees who are lacking experience and who are unemployed so that they can get up to date in their field of specialisation. The main objective of the career path is to obtain the certificate of personal employability (CAPI). Created on May 5, 2006 by ministerial decision published in the official bulletin of the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, CAPI penalises the acquisition of 4 behaviours: * **must be** with the Citizen Training Certificate (CAF), issued by the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, including civic and behavioural education; * **knowledge** with the certificate of vocational training (AFP), issued by the Ministry of Overseas Affairs, certifying a minimum of 800 hours of training (Perben law) in its specialty; * **to read, write, count** with the certificate of general training (CFG), issued by the Ministry of National Education; * **relief** with the assignment of the first-aid lifeguard certificate at work (CSST). The school upgrade is based on personalised training provided by groups of levels. This training is coordinated by 4 teachers from the schools of the Ministry of National Education, made available to the RSMA-Gy by the rectorate of Guyana. The purpose of this upgrade is to prepare for the CFG and to fight for equal opportunities. The driver’s licence: obtaining a B permit is an undeniable asset for hiring and remains a key driver of motivation for trainees. All suitable trainees are presented on the permit. The integration pathway is a highlight of the professional career and is the subject of particular attention from the command. It is punctuated mainly by: * information and awareness sessions facilitated by external stakeholders (Employment Centre, Local Mission) to help the trainee define a professional project; * a research and job technical session (STRE); * a period of application in business of 3 to 4 weeks. The regiment favours the pursuit of forma (English)

1\. **_La formation_**.
