In the period 2019-2022, CEN Auvergne proposes to implement a set of actions to preserve the green and blue frame of the Alagnon watershed. This project is structured around 4 main actions related to the preservation of wetlands and pres-vergers. With regard to the blue frame, provision is made, through the Technical Assistance Cell, to advise wetland managers of the territory. It is also planned to work on networks of pools and lime lakes which are small wetlands but whose mesh size on the territory is essential for the preservation of many species. This action will consist of improving knowledge of these environments but also preserving and carrying out work on sites identified as priorities. Among them is that of Lake Lorlanges, on which CEN Auvergne has been involved since 2005 in connection with the municipality. Finally, one last action concerns the pre-verger frame, as previously, this action will improve knowledge of these environments, including an inventory and characterisation phase of the sites, but also operational actions to preserve and restore this frame with the planting of new orchards and the conservation of old fruit varieties. Sur la période 2019 - 2022, le CEN Auvergne propose de mettre en oeuvre un ensemble d'action en faveur de la préservation de la trame verte et bleue du bassin versant de l'Alagnon. Ce projet s'articule autour de 4 actions principales en lien avec la préservation des zones humides et des prés-vergers. Concernant la trame bleue, il est ainsi prévu, à travers la Cellule d'Assistance Technique Zones Humides, un dispositif de conseils auprès de gestionnaires de zones humides du territoire. Il est également prévu de travailler sur les réseaux de mares et lacs de chaux qui sont des petites zones humides mais dont le maillage sur le territoire est essentiel pour la préservation de nombreuses espèces. Cette action consistera à améliorer la connaissance sur ces milieux mais également à préserver et mener des travaux sur des sites identifiés comme prioritaires. Parmi eux, il y a notamment celui du lac de Lorlanges sur lequel le CEN Auvergne intervient depuis 2005 en lien avec la commune. Enfin, une dernière action concerne la trame de pré-vergers, comme précédemment, cette action permettra d'améliorer la connaissance sur ces milieux avec notamment une phase d'inventaire et de caractérisation des sites mais également des actions opérationnelles de préservation / restauration de cette trame avec la plantation de nouveaux vergers et la conservation de vieilles variétés fruitières.
