The future has been developing since the end of 2013 a socio-professional support for people under electronic supervision. As part of the criminal reform, and in connection with the doctrine of intervention of the Interministerial Fund for Crime Prevention, AVENIR also proposes new innovative ways of assisting individuals in the hands of justice. Futures thus proposes a global “palette” of support arrangements for PPSMJ: \- Individual socio-professional support for persons under electronic supervision \- Individual support of persons hosted in the framework of General Interest Work \- Personalised coaching of persons on parole \- Personalised socio-professional support of persons in semi-freedom The public is the public placed under the hands of the courts, detained or 723-15, eligible for a request for accommodation of sentences or sentenced to carry out work of general interest. The action is based on the definition of a realistic and achievable personal (social and professional) project, the identification and removal of barriers related to integration, the orientation towards common law schemes (health, social...). The aim is to build an individual project with each person in charge that takes into account existing barriers and problems (health, family, professionals) in order to find a positive and realistic solution at the end of the sentence: employment, training, care, housing. Upon arrival, the person is reminded that they are **volunteer** for their arrival and that they become **actress of their stay**. There are advantages in setting up one’s sentence, but the constraints of the measure must be respected. The guests are received 1 to 2 times a week by the attendant, depending on individual needs and personal constraints, at the association’s premises in Riom or Clermont-Fd. The first interview with the attendant makes it possible to take stock of the person’s situation: social, family, professional, medical, financial... It also makes it possible to recall the rules of placement. It allows the first brakes to be identified and to approach the exit project. The objectives are then set. Support consists of the establishment of a progressive and evolving pathway with intermediate objectives to be achieved: resumption of family ties, definition and validation of a professional project, access to employment or training. People are put in contact with common rights partners: Cluster Employment, Local Mission, Sector Social Workers, Common Rights Organisations (CAF, CPAM, CCAS...). The AVENIR Association’s socio-professional network is regularly activated and made aware of the difficulties. This network promotes occupational integration through traineeships, jobs and/or alternating contracts. As soon as the professional project is validated, the socio-professional accompaniment begins with the person looking for a job or training. Throughout the support, the association remains in constant contact with a SPIP correspondent. The latter ensures to the persons placed what falls within his or her usual institutional competence. A SPIP/AVENIR partnership is set up to monitor these missions. An assessment is carried out with the person at the end of the measure, and for the steps to be pursued autonomously. Enhanced individual support focused on positive integration solutions reduces the main risk factors for recidivism, prepares for removals from detention, and avoids isolation factors by providing a structuring and reassuring framework. In this respect, the future contributes to the development of the principle of individualisation of penalties, defined in the context of the criminal reform. (English) | |||||||||||||||

(French)
