AFT, representing the conventional road transport industry and auxiliary transport activities on training and employment issues, is committed to companies to assist them in their operation. An erroneous image of the sector and of the trades, an attractiveness in decline, a pyramid of disadvantaged ages, all obstacles to the recruitment of talent, mainly female but also male. However, the challenge for transport companies, both goods and people, is to meet current economic contexts but also labour needs. In order to achieve this, it has become imperative to find effective and sustainable answers, issues of equality and occupational diversity are among those answers. Based on these findings and challenges, AFT wishes to position itself as a major player in supporting transport and logistics companies on issues of equality and professional diversity. To this end, a programme of actions is proposed, in collaboration with OPCA Transports and in liaison with its privileged partners, which are the professional federations and the trade union organisations, divided according to three lines of intervention and 4 operational actions: _Intervention Axis_: * **axis 1: Identify best practices** on the targeted topics **in our professional sector**, **in the other branches** but also in the structures working to promote professional equality **in the various countries of the European Union** * **Ax 2: Inform and sensitise collective bargaining actors** through joint committees led by AFT and through tools such as targeted studies on industry sectors, forward-looking research, (English) | |||||||||||||||
