The main objective of the operation in the Brittany region is to enable the itinerant worker to become a complete skilled person able to adapt to economic changes. To achieve this, AOCDTF Bretagne provides mobile workers with advanced training. Thus, this pedagogical system offers the possibility of validating a diploma (up to level II), a Certificate of Professional Qualification, a title or even a Certificate of Professional Competence throughout its Tour de France. Validation remains accessible either through registration for a free candidate session or through a Validation of Acquired Experience. The courses are organised in the evenings and Saturdays during the day (General education, techniques applied to the trade) and their contents comply with the standards inherent in the diploma, title, CQP or CCP concerned. Thus, the main objective of the project is to: 1- To promote young people’s access to higher-level vocational qualifications and diplomas (levels IV, III and above) 2 — to better and more professionals throughout their careers in order to contribute to the maintenance of the activity as well as to access and return to employment 3 — show successes internally but also in each information and public guidance relay that can communicate about vocational pathways. The purpose of this application for ESF co-financing essentially addresses the need to support the development of young people’s skills in the Tour de France. The AOCDTF needs support from the ESF to ensure the sustainability of this project, which aims at social success and the reduction of failures of young people and the professionalisation of volunteers and employees.
