El principal objetivo es el desarrollo de un nuevo material de construcción libre de cemento basado en la geopolimerización de residuos industriales sólidos procedentes del tejido industrial gallego. Las prestaciones mecánicas del material junto con su estructura porosa y su capacidad de intercambio iónico, lo convierte en un novedoso material funcional con potencial aplicación en tratamientos de aguas residuales.
