The purpose of the operation is to pilot the deinstitutionalisation process (hereinafter: Di) Institute Dom na Krasu (hereinafter: DNA), which provides for the enhancement and preservation of the dignity of users, who, despite being hindered, are returned to the community, with adequate support, so that they can live as independent life as possible. In addition, the operation will contribute to (i) lowering institutionalisation and hospitalisation by solving current crisis situations, thus enabling as normal integration and maintenance of users as possible in the social and local environment and (ii) adapting the functioning and working methods of existing institutional service providers and providing support for more independent living. The operation addresses the target group of (i) service providers i.e. DNA employees, (ii) people who need programmes i.e. DNA users and people with mental health problems or intellectual disabilities.     Namen operacije je pilotna izvedba procesa deinstitucionalizacije (v nadaljevanju: DI) zavoda Dom na Krasu (v nadaljevanju: DNK), s čimer se predvideva povečanje in ohranjanje dostojanstva uporabnikov, katere se ob ustrezni podpori navkljub oviranosti vrne nazaj v skupnost, da lahko živijo čimbolj samostojno življenje. Dodatno bo operacija prispevala k (i) zniževanju institucionalizacije in hospitalizacij s sprotnim reševanjem nastalih kriznih situacij ter s tem omogočiti čim bolj normalno vključevanje in ohranjanje uporabnikov v socialnem oz. lokalnem okolju in (ii) prilagoditvi delovanja in metod dela obstoječih izvajalcev institucionalnih storitev ter uporabnikom omogočil podporo za samostojnejše življenje. Operacija naslavlja ciljni skupini (i) izvajalcev storitev tj. zaposleni na DNK, (ii) osebe, ki potrebujejo programe tj. uporabniki DNK in osebe s težavami v duševnem zdravju oziroma motnjo v duševnem razvoju.
