(Spanish)

Platform for self-control in inflammatory bowel disease Development of a platform for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (EntrenaEII), which combines self-monitoring tools and treatment algorithms that allow self-control. EntrenaEII is made up of a control center and monitoring tools in the form of applications downloadable through the platform. The information obtained through monitoring is referred to the control center where it integrates with the available data of the disease, in order to generate in an automated way a plan of therapeutic options and action guidelines. This IT tool allows the control and management of patients with IBD remotely, avoiding scheduled and urgent face-to-face consultations, as well as visits to the Emergency Service or unnecessary income, in the face of a mild-moderate outbreak of the disease. With the use of the platform, the patient actively participates in its process by increasing its capacity for self-treatment, increasing adherence to it and achieving better evolutionary control of its disease. After the development of the platform, an evaluation will be carried out among the patients of the participating Units to analyse its acceptance and define the patient profile most appropriate for its use. This evaluation will help determine the usefulness and applicability of EntrenaEII as a possible future strategy for telematics care in patients with IBD. (English)
