Property / summary: Emotional Disorders (TE, anxiety and mood disorders) are the most prevalent in our society and generate very high direct and indirect costs in our SNS. Mental Health professionals should know and apply specific treatments for each of the TEs, with the cost involved. In addition, the long waiting lists in the Public Mental Health Systems pose the challenge of testing new psychological treatments and intervention formats. Recent research has identified etiological factors common to different ETs (transdiagnostic perspective) which has led to the emergence of new proposals for psychological treatment. One of the most recognised is the “Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders” (PU) by Dr. David H. Barlow, which affects the emotional dysregulation characteristic of ESDs. The PU has data of effectiveness in its individual and group application. We present a multicenter randomised clinical trial to study the efficacy and cost-effectiveness of PU applied as a group in different NHS devices. Our goal is to bring to clinical practice (clinical-translational research) the innovation achieved at the psychopathological level and evidence-based treatments. (English) / rank | |||||||||||||||

(Spanish)
