El objetivo general del proyecto es la obtención de un tablero de madera contrachapada de chopo de mayor calidad y con la máxima eficiencia en el consumo de materia prima. El desarrollo será de aplicación y replicable en cualquier fábrica y se apostará por una solución versátil y parametrizable. El proyecto se centra en la prioridad de Retos Sociales e) "Acción sobre el cambio climático y eficiencia en la utilización de recursos y materias primas." dadas las ventajas evidentes que la iniciativa tendrá en el aprovechamiento forestal y en el consumo controlado de recursos naturales y materias primas en un proceso que tiene mermas de material superiores al 64% en sus dos etapas productivas._x000D_ Para el desarrollo del proyecto será necesario alcanzar los siguientes objetivos específicos:_x000D_ -Caracterizar la materia prima recibida, especialmente la humedad, factor crítico en la madera a la hora de obtener un producto final de la máxima calidad. Eliminar los picos de humedad sobre la materia prima a lo largo del proceso y estabilizar la humedad en toda la superficie en una cifra ideal no superior al 12%._x000D_ -Desarrollar una solución que permita humidifica o secar de forma selectiva la madera tras el desenrollado de la primera madera, como paso previo al proceso productivo de fabricación de tableros, especialmente de contrachapado. El punto crítico se encuentra antes del proceso de secado, posteriormente descrito. Actualmente las tecnologías conocidas únicamente secan, y de forma irregular, la materia prima._x000D_ -Desarrollar adhesivos que permitan una mejor cohesión entre las diferentes capas de madera, especialmente en condiciones de humedad variable._x000D_ -Generar una tecnología productiva de tablero de alta calidad y aprovechamiento máximo de materia prima integrada en la planta del líder del proyecto en Valencia de Don Juan (León) que sirva como banco de pruebas no comercializable. The project focuses on the priority of Social Challenges e) “Action on climate change and efficiency in the use of resources and raw materials.” given the obvious advantages that the initiative will have in forestry and in the controlled consumption of natural resources and raw materials in a process that has material decreases of more than 64 % in its two production stages._x000D_ For the development of the project it will be necessary to achieve the following specific objectives:_x000D_ -Characterising the raw material received, especially moisture, critical factor in wood when obtaining a final product of the highest quality. Remove the moisture peaks on the raw material throughout the process and stabilise the moisture throughout the surface at an ideal figure not exceeding 12 %._x000D_ -Develop a solution that allows the wood to be selectively humidified or dried after the first wood is unrolled, as a step prior to the production process of manufacturing boards, especially plywood. The critical point is before the drying process, subsequently described. Currently the known technologies only dry, and irregularly, the raw material._x000D_ -Develop adhesives that allow a better cohesion between the different layers of wood, especially in conditions of variable humidity._x000D_ -Generate a high quality board production technology and maximum utilisation of raw material integrated in the plant of the project leader in Valencia de Don Juan (León) that serves as an unmarketable test bench.
