El cáncer de pulmón es la principal causa de muerte por cáncer en todo el mundo, con muy pocas terapias efectivas. En este proyecto, nosotros proponemos una nueva estrategia para tratar el cáncer de pulmón, gracias al desarrollo de nuestras tecnologías y resultados de consorcios públicos, que nos han permitido identificar nuevas vulnerabilidades al cáncer de pulmón. Hemos desarrollado una nueva familia de productos capaces de corregir una alteración común, presente a les células cancerosas que aumenta su capacidad de crecer. _x000D_ Tenemos resultados, tanto in vitro como in vivo en diferentes modelos de ratón, que demuestran el potencial terapéutico de estos productos y como su uso reduce la velocidad de crecimiento de los tumores. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death world-wide with very few effective treatments. In this project, we propose a novel approach for treating lung cancer; thanks to the development of new technologies and the results from public consortiums we have identified a potential vulnerability in lung cancer. We have developed a new family of compounds, capable of correcting a common alteration present in cancer cells that increases their capacity to grow._x000D_ We have results, both in vitro and in vivo in different mouse models, that shows the therapeutic capacities of these compounds and how they reduce the rate at which tumors grow.
