The main objective of this project is to develop new technologies to replace the current technologies that use SBD and RUDICS technology for the reception of buoy data on board tuna vessels. With this evolution, it is intended to have innovative technology and in the future to make a more versatile and generic reception equipment, which is valid not only for MSB software, but also for other Marine Instruments systems such as the Marine View or the Electronic Eye system (eEye), all of them developed internally._x000D_ _x000D_ The development presents the following technological innovations: _x000D_ • new satellite communications antenna and transceiver concept fully integrated into one unit (hardware and firmware)._x000D_ • New hardware concept with all components integrated into a single PCB._x000D_ • New integrated antenna and transceiver concept, which also integrates sensors (temperature, humidity and accelerometer), to be able to verify the integrity of the antenna._x000D_ • New concept of offshore satellite communications ecosystem, expandable, versatile, and remotely configurable._x000D_ _x000D_ The project is divided into three work packages (PT1 Definition of Requirements, PT2 Experimental Development, PT3 Testing and Validation), and will be carried out in 14 months.     El principal objetivo de este proyecto es desarrollar nuevas tecnologías en sustitución de las actuales que usan tecnología de SBD y RUDICS para la recepción de datos de boyas a bordo de barcos atuneros. La recepción actual se hace a través del software MSB, propiedad de Marine Instruments, donde el SW se conecta directamente al módem Iridium a través del equipo MSR2, siendo de uso exclusivo.
