    El objetivo general de este proyecto es el desarrollo de un nuevo compound a partir del Polivinilbutiral reciclado (en adelante PVB-reciclado) procedente de las láminas que se utilizan en la fabricación de lunas de automóvil. Este nuevo compound estará destinado a la fabricación de césped artificial, debiendo cumplir las mismas exigencias técnicas que los elaborados con los látex actuales y a la vez permitir la recuperación y reutilización del césped como materia prima, una vez completado su ciclo de vida útil._x000D_ Con el desarrollo del presente proyecto se reducirá tanto la necesidad de fabricar materiales nuevos como la cantidad de residuos que hay que depositar en vertedero puesto que se reaprovecha residuos generados por la industria del automóvil y se minimizarán los generados por la sustitución del césped artificial. Con ello se apuesta por la transformación y el aprovechamiento de materiales que han dejado de cumplir su función original y que podrán ser reutilizables._x000D_ Para la consecución de dicho objetivo general se pretenden alcanzar los siguientes objetivos técnicos específicos:_x000D_ •Desarrollo de un compound a partir de material reciclado, Polivinilbutiral o PVB, que a su vez sea 100% reutilizable._x000D_ •Desarrollo de un compound para su uso como adhesivo en el proceso de Tufting del césped artificial que presente como mínimo las mismas propiedades de resistencia, tenacidad y flexibilidad que las que posee el compuesto empleado hasta el momento como adhesivo en la elaboración de césped artificial, y con ello permita cumplir con los requisitos técnicos y funcionales exigidos al césped artificial. El ligante mayoritario en la elaboración de compuesto para césped es actualmente el latex SBR, y este tipo de compuesto es la referencia del proyecto, aunque en determinadas aplicaciones se usa también el poliuretano._x000D_ •Desarrollo de un compound a partir de material reciclado destinado a la elaboración de césped artificial que permita que éste sea a su vez reciclable.
