ALSO, THE IP IS A MEMBER OF EUCLID’S SCIENTIFIC TEAM AND AS SUCH HAS TO ADVISE THAT OF EUCLID’S SCIENTIFIC MERIT AND PERFORMANCE. WE ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO EUCLID’S UTILITY LOAD. WE HAVE A HIGH INTEREST IN INSTRUMENTATION WHERE WE HAVE ACQUIRED VALUABLE EXPERIENCE WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE CHAMBER OF PAU. OUR GROUP LEADS THE EUCLID NISP FILTER WHEEL SUBSYSTEM. FINALLY, WE HAVE A RELEVANT ROLE IN THE SCIENTIFIC EARTH SEGMENT OF EUCLID. WE HAVE THE HEADQUARTERS OF THE SPANISH SCIENTIFIC DATA CENTER, WE LEAD THE SIMULATION ORGANISATION UNIT AND WE ARE THE DEPUTY LEADERS OF THE PHOTOMETRIC REDSHIFTS ORGANISATION UNIT. WE ALSO LEAD REDSHIFT’S SPECTROSCOPIC ACQUISITION PROGRAM TO CALIBRATE EUCLID’S PHOTOMETRIC REDSHIFTS. WE HOPE THAT OUR HIGH PARTICIPATION IN THE EUCLID MISSION AND OTHER PREVIOUS PREPARATORY MAPS WILL PLACE SPAIN IN THE FOREFRONT OF COSMOLOGY RESEARCH IN EUROPE AND IN A COMPETITIVE POSITION FOR SPANISH INSTITUTES AND INDUSTRIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPATIAL INSTRUMENTATION AND IN DATA PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS.
