In this research project CTM2013-46669-R, in current implementation, includes applications related to the treatment of wastewaters, and new products will be studied._x000D_ of SINTETICAL RESIDUAL WATERs doped with ECS in a flat-screen with COMPUESTA LABORATORY for two biologic processes: UASB (UPFLOW ANAEROBIC SLUDGE BLANKET) AND SMEBR (SUBMERGED MEMBRANE ELECTRO-BIOREACTOR) PLACED IN SERIES. THIS COMBINATION OF TREATMENTS IS CHOSEN BASED ON THE GOOD RESULTS ACHIEVED WITH THE COMBINATION UASB + SMBR (SUBMERGED MEMBRANE BIOREACTOR), WHICH IS BEING USED IN THE PROJECT CURRENTLY IN EXECUTION. ELECTROCOAGULATION IS INCORPORATED INTO THE SMBR, WITH WHICH IT IS EXPECTED TO IMPROVE THE ELIMINATION OF ECS AND DECREASE THE EXTRACELLULAR POLYMERIC SUBSTANCES THAT CAUSE SOILING OF THE MEMBRANES. These TECHNOLOGIES HAVE BECOME TO USE BY THE RESEARCH TEQUIPMENT IN THE PROJECT IN MARKET._x000D_ RESULTS that are expected to allow them to reach LOGRIVEDIVERSES: KNOW THE ELIMINATION OF ORGANIC MATTER, NUTRIENTS AND ECS WHEN TREATING SYNTHETIC AND REAL WASTEWATER WITH THE UASB AND SMEBR PROCESSES IN SERIES; OBTAIN OPTIMAL OPERATING VARIABLES; MODELING PROCESSES BY CALIBRATING PARAMETERS WITH LABORATORY-SCALE EXPERIMENTATION; ASCERTAIN THE FEASIBILITY OF UASB FOR TREATING WASTE WATER IN SMALL POPULATIONS; KNOW THAT ECS ARE MORE RESISTANT TO BIOLOGICAL PROCESSES AND WHICH IS THE BEST COMBINATION O3/AC FOR THEIR ELIMINATION. In addition, the EFICIENCE OF THIS TREATMENT O3/AC will be compared to the use of nanofiltration meMBRANAS U OSMOSIS INVERSA with this FINALITY, contrasting with the findings that are being dealt with in the CTM2013-46669-R._x000D_ PROJECT PROJECT This PROPOSES is adapted PERFECTLY TO THE PRIORITIES OF the SPANISH STRATEGY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION AND WITH THE OBJECTIVES OF HORIZONTE 2020.
