OBIECTIVUL GENERAL AL PROIECTULUI: Stimularea participarii la educatie si prevenirea fenomenului de parasire timpurie a scolii pentru 273 de copii ai caror parinti sunt plecati in strainatate din judetele Constanta si Tulcea. In cadrul proiectului va fi implementat un model de interventie pentru cresterea participarii la invatamant si reducerea parasirii timpurii a scolii pentru copiii cu parinti plecati la munca in strainatate perfectat de Organizatia Salvati Copiii in peste 10 ani de activitate, model premiat in cadrul a 3 editii a Galei Societatii Civile (2013, 2017 si 2019) si recunoscut ca un exemplu de buna practica in domeniu la nivel national. Alaturi de activitatile Salvati Copiii, prin proiect se vor asigura servicii inovatoare de catre Partenerul 1 – Scoala de Valori care va furniza un pachet educational inovator prin intermediul unei „caravane educationale interactive”: ateliere de educatie si orientare in cariera bazate pe valori si metode non-formale de educatie. Organizatia Salvati Copiii este furnizor acreditat de servicii sociale si isi desfasoara activitatea in domeniul promovarii si apararii drepturilor copiilor din anul 1990. Peste 2,2 mil copii au fost inclusi in programe educative, sociale si de protectie. Deruleaza proiecte vizand facilitarea accesului la educatie si prevenirea abandonului scolar pentru copii vulnerabili, in principal prin interventii de tip Scoala dupa Scoala, dar si alte tipuri de interventii, prin care, din 1998, a sprijinit peste 42.000 de copii. Are colaborari de lunga durata cu scoli, SPAS, DGASPC, ISJ din numeroase judete, inclusiv cele in care se deruleaza proiectul propus. Incepand din 2010, deruleaza la nivel national un program complex destinat protectiei si educatiei copiilor ramasi singuri acasa ca urmare a plecarii parintilor la munca in strainatate. Organizatia Salvati Copii a contribuit la imbunatatirea legislatiei relevante, eforturi concretizate prin noi prevederi legislative incluse in Legea Copilului in 2013 si 2020. Scoala de Valori desfasoara din 2018 activitati educationale bazate pe valori in cadrul programelor „Career Bus” care au scopul de a reduce abandonul scolar si de a creste incluziunea si performantele elevilor. MODUL IN CARE PROIECTUL VA GENERA UN EFECT POZITIV PE TERMEN LUNG: Prin obiectivele si activitatile propuse, precum si prin rezultatele asteptate, proiectul produce o schimbare semnificativa si de durata a calitatii vietii copiilor cu parinti plecati in strainatate din cele 2 judete vizate (Constanta si Tulcea) aferente regiunii Sud-Est. Prin intermediul proiectului, 273 de elevi si prescolari cu parinti plecati in strainatate din Constanta, Navodari, com. Cobadin (jud. Constanta) si Tulcea si com. Turcoaia (jud. Tulcea) vor beneficia de un pachet integrat de servicii in vederea stimularii participarii la educatie si prevenirii fenomenului de parasire timpurie a scolii. GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT: Stimulating participation in education and preventing early school leaving for 273 children whose parents are abroad from Constanta and Tulcea counties. Within the project will be implemented an intervention model to increase participation in education and reduce early school leaving for children with parents gone to work abroad perfected by Save the Children Organisation in over 10 years of activity, model awarded in 3 editions of the Civil Society Gala (2013, 2017 and 2019) and recognised as an example of good practice in the field at national level. Together with Save the Children’s activities, the project will provide innovative services by Partner 1 – Values School, which will provide an innovative educational package through an “interactive educational caravan”: educational and career guidance workshops based on values and non-formal methods of education. Save Children is an accredited provider of social services and operates in the field of promotion and protection of children’s rights since 1990. Over 2.2 million children were included in educational, social and protective programs. It carries out projects aimed at facilitating access to education and preventing school abandonment for vulnerable children, mainly through school-type interventions, but also other types of interventions, through which, since 1998, it has supported over 42,000 children. It has long-standing collaborations with schools, SPAS, DGASPC, ISJ in many counties, including those in which the proposed project takes place. Starting in 2010, a complex program for the protection and education of children left alone at home as a result of the departure of parents to work abroad is developed at national level. The organisation Save Children has contributed to the improvement of the relevant legislation, concreteised by new legislative provisions included in the Child Law in 2013 and 2020. The Values School conducts value-based educational activities in 2018 within the “Career Bus” programs that aim to reduce school dropout and increase students’ inclusion and performance. HOW THE PROJECT WILL GENERATE A POSITIVE LONG-TERM EFFECT: Through the proposed objectives and activities, as well as the expected results, the project produces a significant and lasting change in the quality of life of children with parents abroad from the 2 counties targeted (Constanta and Tulcea) related to the South-East region. Through the project, 273 students and preschoolers with parents abroad from Constanta, Navodari, com. Cobadin (county. Constanta) and Tulcea and com. Turcoaia (jud. Tulcea) will benefit from an integrated package of services to stimulate participation in education and prevent early school leaving. The social assistance technicians employed in the project will carry out the surveys (English)
