    El Mercado de Abastos de la ciudad de Tomelloso se encuentra situado próximo a la Plaza de España, en el centro urbano del municipio. Aunque su localización es céntrica, el edificio está aislado de la actividad de la ciudad debido a que se encuentra en desuso. _x000D_ Mediante esta operación se plantea invertir en la revitalización de este edificio y su entorno, para contribuir a los retos identificados durtante los trabajos de análisis y diagnóstico realizados para la elaboración de la EDUSI._x000D_ Las actuaciones a desarrollar irán encaminadas a la transformación del edificio del Mercado de Abastos y sus instalaciones exteriores (que conforma un parking y una plaza) para fomentar la regeneración integral del entorno urbano que ocupa el mercado y dotar a la ciudad de un nuevo espacio para usos socieconómicos y culturales.
