The Biobank of the Public Health System of Andalusia (SSPA) is an initiative of the Ministry of Health of the Junta de Andalucía and was born as part of the strategic line of the Junta de Andalucía for the promotion of biomedical research and the protection of the rights of citizen donors of the samples that are used in research. As a networked Biobank, it constitutes a technological and service platform in which the structures and units of the Public Health Centers, Cell Line Banks and other centers are integrated, which can obtain, process and preserve cells, tissue substances and biological samples for clinical or research use constituted as Biobank Nodes. Thus, the SSPA Biobank offers a wide portfolio of services with great capacity for processing, characterization and quality control of biological samples for the development of different types of research projects, clinical trials, quality assurance schemes, as well as training and advisory services. For this purpose, it has different technological units specialized in the treatment and processing of biological samples in order to respond to the needs of different research groups in both the clinical and basic research areas, which mainly develop scientific projects in our autonomous community. without forgetting services that are also being carried out with research groups from the rest of Spain, and even international groups._x000D_ Given the support that the SSPA Biobank provides to important research projects, we request, (English)
