Cílem projektu je navázat na tradici komunitního plánování ve městě Ústí nad Labem, která probíhá nepřetržitě od roku 1999 a nově ji rozšířit na celé území SO ORP Ústí nad Labem. Realizací komunitního plánování bude podpořena spolupráce zadavatelů, poskytovatelů sociálních služeb, jejich uživatelů a dalších subjektů v SO ORP Ústí nad Labem při plánování a realizaci efektivního nastavení a zajištění sociálních služeb a služeb sociálním službám blízkým.
