Projekt je zameraný na celkovú obnovu a modernizáciu administratívnej budovy NLC s cieľom zníženia energetickej náročnosti verejnej budovy, ktorý sa dosiahne realizovaním stavebno-technických opatrení, navrhnutých v energetickom audite a projektovej dokumentácii. Jedná sa o: zateplenie obvodového plášťa, komplexnú rekonštrukciu tepelno-technických zariadení (modernizácia celého reťazca: vstup energie, jej premena, cez rozvody až po jej spotrebu), čím sa dosiahne výrazný pozitívny synergický efekt úspor energie. Riešené budú aj rozvody zdravotechniky, osvetlenie, rekonštrukcia osobného výťahu, vybudovanie bezbariérového vstupu do budovy a oddrenážovanie severnej fasády podpivničenej časti stavby. V súčasnosti je objekt v energ. triede B-spodná hranica globálneho ukazovateľa - primárna energia. Je 4-podlažný, osadený v širšom centre mesta. Pozostáva z 3 sekcií na ul. Sokolská, J.C.Hronského a J.Švermu. Po realizácii opatrení bude objekt spĺňať požiadavky pre triedu energetickej hospodárnosti v kategórii administratívnych budov - A1 ultranízkoenergetické budovy. Úspora podľa globálneho ukazovateľa primárnej energie predstavuje hodnotu 155,53 kWh/(m2.a) tj. 66,73 %, úspora potreby energie na vykurovanie je 69,15 %. Cieľová hodnota merateľného ukazovateľa projektu "Zníženie potreby energie vo verejných budovách" je  859 505 kWh/rok. (Slovak)

The project aims at the overall renovation and modernisation of the NLC administrative building with the aim of reducing the energy intensity of the public building, which will be achieved by implementing the construction and technical measures proposed in the energy audit and project documentation. These are: insulation of the outer casing, complex reconstruction of thermal and technical equipment (modernisation of the whole chain: input of energy, its transformation, through distribution to its consumption), thus achieving a significant positive synergistic effect of energy savings. The solutions will also be medical wiring, lighting, reconstruction of a passenger lift, construction of barrier-free entrance to the building and drainage of the northern facade of the basement part of the building. Currently, the object in the B-class energy class is the lower boundary of the global indicator – primary energy. It is 4-storey, set in the wider city center. It consists of 3 sections on ul. Sokolská, J.C.Hronský and J.Šverma. After the implementation of the measures, the object will meet the requirements for the energy performance class in the category of administrative buildings – A1 ultra-low energy buildings. The saving according to the global primary energy indicator is 155.53 kWh/(m².a) i.e. 66.73 %, energy saving for heating is 69.15 %.
