| Property / summary: Revitalizácia park – Gudernova vychádza zo stratégie adaptácie Mestskej časti Košice – Západ, je odpoveďou na zmenu klímy prejavujúcu sa na území, zameriavajúc sa na najzávažnejší dopad - zvyšovanie častosti a intenzity horúčav. Hlavným cieľom projektu je na základe adaptačnej stratégie zníženie zraniteľnosti Mestskej časti Košice – Západ na zvyšovanie častosti a intenzity horúčav "Zlepšenie environmentálnych aspektov a kvality života obyvateľov mesta Košice prostredníctvom revitalizácie parku Gudrenova", a to:- obnovou zaniknutých odpočinkových zón,- ozdravením existujúceho a vysadením nového porastu zelenene- obnovou nefunkčnej fontány - doplnením o mestských prvkov drobnej architektúry (lavičky, asmetné koše, kempingové stoly, stojany na bycikle, pitníky)V súvislosti s hlavným cieľom boli následne definované aj špecifické ciele projektu : • Znížiť citlivosť obyvateľov a územia • Zvýšiť adaptívnu kapacitu obyvateľov • Skvalitniť ekosystémové služby a zatraktívniť životné a sídelné prostredie riešeného parku, a to výsadbou zelene, obnovou fontány a oddychových zón. | Property / summary: The revitalisation of the park – Gudernova is based on the adaptation strategy of the City of Košice-West, it is a response to climate change manifesting in the territory, focusing on the most serious impact – increasing the frequency and intensity of heat waves. The main objective of the project is to reduce the vulnerability of the City of Košice – West to increase the frequency and intensity of heatwaves “Improving environmental aspects and the quality of life of the inhabitants of Košice through the revitalisation of the Gudrenova Park”, namely: – by restoring the lost resting zones,- by restoring the existing and planting of a new green vegetation – by restoring a non-functional fountain – by adding to the urban elements of small architecture (beads, assemble baskets, camping tables, stands for flats, drinkers).In connection with the main objective, the specific objectives of the project were subsequently defined: • Reduce the sensitivity of residents and territories • Increase the adaptive capacity of residents • Improve ecosystem services and make the living and settlement environment of the park addressed, by planting greenery, restoring fountains and rest areas more attractive.
