Projekt „Cyklotrasa Wilsonovo nábrežie - (Univerzitný most) - Mostná ul. - Jesenského ul. (Park Sihoť)“ je v súlade s koncepčným materiálom „Koncepcia cyklistickej dopravy v meste Nitra“. V zmysle toho materiálu má byť v prvej etape (do roku 2020) dobudovaných cca. 27,30 km cyklistických komunikácií. „Cyklotrasa Wilsonovo nábrežie - (Univerzitný most) - Mostná ul. - Jesenského ul. (Park Sihoť)“ je jedným z plánovaných aktivít a úsekov o celkovej dĺžke 1 995,57 metrov nových cyklistických komunikácií. Cyklotrasa sa bude realizovať na existujúcom chodníku, ul. Wilsonovo nábrežie v Nitre. Trasa začína pri Univerzitnom moste, kde sa napojí na už zrealizovanú trasu cyklochodníka a chodníka, v mieste konca mosta. Pokračuje ďalej po existujúcom chodníku, pozdĺž rieky Nitra až k ul. Boženy Slančíkovej. V tomto mieste trasa spoločného chodníka a cyklochodníka križuje existujúci chodník a križovatku. V mieste je navrhnuté nové zvislé aj vodorovné dopravné značenie, na prevedenie chodcov aj cyklistov cez križovatku. Za križovatkou trasa pokračuje po existujúcom chodníku smerom na ul. Mostná. Na ul. Mostná je trasa opäť križovaná existujúcim chodníkom a križovatkou. Trasa ďalej pokračuje, v území pri rieke, na existujúcom povrchu hrádze. Koniec trasy predstavuje napojenie v mieste existujúceho spoločného chodníka a cyklochodníka v parku Sihoť, kde sa napojí na existujúcu sieť cyklistických komunikácií. (Slovak)
