The proposed project Nitra – Vráble Stage III Cycling Path has an ambition to address the lack of infrastructure for cycling in the territory of Nitra Region. It consists of building a two-way cycle path that will connect the towns of Nitra and Vráble, centres of economic importance, which will be used for commuting, civic amenities or schools and will also be an attractive route for cyclists in terms of location of the cycle path in the natural environment. Section of road III/6145 Nitra – Janíkovce, Čechynce, Malý Cetín, Veľký Cetín, Paňa, Dyčka – Vráble is also used by cyclists who are at risk of road users due to dense car traffic. The main activity of the project is the construction of a new section and reconstruction of part of the existing section of cycling communication as a cycling route and the realisation of elements of small architecture and information system as an additional cycling infrastructure. In this way, the activities of the project will create an accessible, attractive alternative to the current 3 rd class road. The aim of the project is to include cycling as a full-fledged mode of transport within sustainable mobility in the towns of Nitra and Vráble and in the cadastral areas of adjacent municipalities. Predkladaný projekt Cyklistický chodník Nitra – Vráble III. etapa má ambíciu riešiť nedostatočnú infraštruktúru pre cyklodopravu na území Nitrianskeho kraja. Spočíva vo vybudovaní obojsmernej cyklotrasy, ktorá prepojí mestá Nitra a Vráble, centrá hospodárskeho významu, ktorá bude využívaná na dochádzku do zamestnania, občianskou vybavenosťou či škôl a zároveň bude lákavou trasou pre cyklistov z hľadiska umiestnenia cyklotrasy v prírodnom prostredí. Úsek cesty III/6145 Nitra - Janíkovce, Čechynce, Malý Cetín, Veľký Cetín, Paňa, Dyčka – Vráble je využívaný aj cyklistami, ktorí sú ohrozenými účastníkmi cestnej premávky vzhľadom na hustú automobilovú dopravu. Hlavnou aktivitou projektu je vybudovanie nového úseku a rekonštrukcia časti existujúceho úseku cyklistickej komunikácie ako cyklodopravnej trasy a realizácia prvkov drobnej architektúry a informačného systému ako doplnkovej cyklistickej infraštruktúry. Takto aktivity projektu vytvoria dostupnú, atraktívnu alternatívu súčasnej cesty III. triedy. Zámerom projektu je začleniť cyklistickú dopravu ako plnohodnotný spôsob prepravy v rámci udržateľnej mobility v mestách Nitra a Vráble a v katastrálnych územiach priľahlých obcí. (Slovak)
