In the 2016/2017 school year, 138 pupils in 9 classes attend the school and focus on environmental education. Of the total number of pupils in the school, there are 20 pupils with special educational problems (ŠVVP), of which 2 are mentally disabled – variant A, and 5 pupils requiring a teacher’s assistant.  The Elementary School does not employ any teacher’s assistant, which is very alarming, since 5 pupils who are entitled to a teacher’s assistant are not able to provide this kind of professional assistance and care. A special pedagogical teacher works at the school and it is not possible for him to be able to provide all pupils with adequate special-pedagogical care. His work is focused mainly on pupils with SVVP, but at the same time he also performs a lot of consulting activities to parents and teachers, as well as administrative activities.Slight teachers working at the school are not able to capture and solve many problems associated with the educational process. For these reasons, the aim of the project “Increase inclusiveness and equal access to quality education and to improve the outcomes and competences of children and pupils” at the Elementary School Brodňanská 110/17, Žilina. The objective in question will be met through 2 main activities:1. Creation and occupation of 2 new posts as teacher’s assistant for the purpose of including pupils with health disabilities in the educational process2. Creation and occupation of 1 new post of school psychologist for the purpose of equalising the disadvantage of pupils and ensuring equal opportunities in the educational process. The selected activities will contribute to equalising the disadvantage of pupils, ensure equal opportunities in the educational process, eliminate socio-pathological phenomena, improve school success of pupils, including those with special educational needs. The above mentioned contribution of the project will be mainly addressed to the following target groups: pupils with SVVP, but also for other pupils, teachers and parents of elementary school with school Brodňanská 110/17, Žilina. By implementing the project, we expect to achieve: an increase in the number of pupils with SCE by 10 in ordinary classes, within 24 months after the end of the project, of which 2 from the SZP group. At the same time, we anticipate an improvement in learning outcomes 6 months after the implementation of the project for at least 9 pupils with SVET. (English)

Jeho práca je zameraná hlavne na žiakov so ŠVVP, no zároveň vykonáva ako aj veľa poradenskej činnosti rodičom a učiteľom, tak aj administratívnu činnosť.Triedni učitelia pracujúci na škole, nestíhajú zachytiť a riešiť množstvo problémov spojených s výchovno-vzdelávacím procesom. Z uvedených dôvodov je cieľom projektu "Zvýšiť inkluzívnosť a rovnaký prístup ku kvalitnému vzdelávaniu a zlepšiť výsledky a kompetencie detí a žiakov" na ZŠ s MŠ Brodňanská 110/17, Žilina. Predmetný cieľ bude naplnený prostredníctvom 2 hlavných aktivít:1. Vytvorenie a obsadenie 2 nových pracovných miesta asistenta učiteľa za účelom začlenenia žiakov so zdravotným znevýhodnením do vzdelávacieho procesu2. Vytvorenie a obsadenie 1 nového pracovného miesta školského psychológa pre účely vyrovnávania znevýhodnenia žiakov a zabezpečenia rovnosti príležitostí vo výchovno-vzdelávacom procese.Zvolené aktivity prispejú k vyrovnávaniu znevýhodnenia žiakov, zabezpečia rovnosť príležitostí vo výchovno-vzdelávacom procese, eliminujú socio-patologické javy, zlepšia školskú úspešnosť žiakov vrátane žiakov so špeciálnymi výchovno-vzdelávacími potrebami. Uvedený prínos projektu bude určený hlavne pre tieto cieľové skupiny: žiakov so ŠVVP, ale aj pre ostatných žiakov, učiteľov a rodičov ZŠ s MŠ Brodňanská 110/17, Žilina. Realizáciou projektu predpokladáme dosiahnuť: navýšenie počtu žiakov so ŠVVP o 10 zaradených v bežných triedach, do 24 mesiacov po skončení projektu, z toho 2 zo skupiny SZP. Zároveň predpokladáme zlepšenie študijných výsledkov 6 mesiacov po realizácií projektu u minimálne 9 žiakov so ŠVVP. (Slovak)
