Žilinský samosprávny kraj, ako zriaďovatež Spojenej školy, v snahe primerane zareagova na aktuálne požiadavky trhu práce v rámci predkladaného projektu zrealizuje významné investície do objektu školských dielní, kde vzniknú 3 nové odborné učebne – učebňa CNC sústruženia a frézovania, učebňa hydrauliky a pneumatiky a učebňa elektrotechniky. Tieto učebne budú využíva na štúdium žiaci študujúci v rámci skupiny odborov 23, 24 – Strojárstvo a ostatná kovospracujúca výroba a skupiny odborov 26 – Elektrotechnika. Učebne budú umiestnené v severnom a západnom prístavku školských dielní, kde sa tiež zrealizujú nevyhnutné stavebné práce vedúce nielen k zatraktívneniu a sfunkčneniu prostredia, ale aj k odstráneniu jestvujúcich bariér v zmysle uplatnenia princípov univerzálneho navrhovania, čím projekt prispeje k napĺňaniu špecifického cieža výzvy č. 2.2.3 Zvýšenie počtu žiakov stredných odborných škôl na praktickom vyučovaní. In order to adequately respond to the current labour market requirements, the Žilina Self-Governing Region, as part of the present project, will make significant investments in the building of school workshops, where 3 new professional classrooms of CNC turning and milling, hydraulics and tires classroom and electrical engineering classroom will be created. These classrooms will be used for a study studying as part of a group of disciplines 23, 24 Mechanical Engineering and other metalworking production and groups of 26 Electrical Engineering. Classrooms will be located in the northern and western quays of school workshops, where the necessary construction works will be carried out, leading not only to the attractiveness and functionalisation of the environment, but also to the removal of existing barriers in terms of the application of the principles of universal design, thereby contributing to the fulfilment of the specific objective of Call No 2.2.3 to increase the number of secondary professional rounds in practical teaching.
