General objective of the project: Facilitating the access of the population of South West Oltenia to high quality medical services, oriented towards prevention, early detection (screening), early diagnosis and treatment of precancerous colorectal lesions. The project “Experformed medical services for prevention, diagnosis and endoscopic treatment in colorectal cancer” will be implemented in the Oltenia SV region and will have an impact on a number of 50010 people, who will participate in screening for the identification of people at standard risk of colorectal cancer, of which 2183 patients (4.37 % of the target group) will benefit from lower digestive endoscopy (colonoscopy). The needs of the target group were identified by the Applicant’s experts – University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova within the project: “Programmes of prevention, early detection, diagnosis and early treatment of colorectal cancer – stage I”. These needs are: the need to inform about the risks generated by the lack of periodic medical examinations after the age of 50; the need for preventive medical consultations offered free of charge – very many people in the target group belong to disadvantaged dogs; the need for primary treatments for infant diseases. Benefits for the target group: better health, rapid healing of medical problems detected in the early phase, free medical services for the prevention of colorectal cancer. Long-term benefits of project implementation: — Lowers the cost of medical services through early treatment – Increases the lifespan of the target group – favors the installation of correct behavior in the field of prevention – both from patients and from family doctors! Regarding the obligation set out in Annex 2: The criteria for verifying administrative compliance and eligibility, point B5, namely: “The applicant has ticked NOT in the financing application (in order to comply with the provisions of Article 65(6) of CPR No 1303/2013 on the eligibility of expenditure) or, if he has ticked and started, the applicant has indicated that he has complied with the relevant legislation applicable to the project, in accordance with Article 125(3)(e) of Regulation (EC) No 125(3). EC No 1303/2013", we would point out that in the statements, the annex to and the integral part of the financing application, the legal representative declared on his own responsibility the following: the project for which funding was requested has NOT benefited from public funding other than those of the applicant in the last 5 years prior to the date of submission of the financing application. In the event that such financing will be available after the submission of the financing application or during the implementation of the project, UMF Craiova will inform the Managing Authority for the Human Capital Operational Programme 2014-2020 (POCU) as a matter of urgency. — project for which funding was requested (English)
