Obiectivul principal al proiectului este reconversia și refuncționalizarea terenurilor și suprafețelor degradate, vacante sau neutilizate din municipiul Galati, prin investitii din fonduri nerambursabile si de la bugetul local, cu scopul de a realiza un obiectiv de interes public local si regional care sa participe la cresterea calitatii vietii in Municipiul Galati. Prin intermediul obiectivului se vor ameliora o serie de deficiente la nivelul teritoriului administrativ al municipiului, respectiv: regenerarea urbana coerenta a spatiilor neutilizate; nivelul scazut al cotei de spatiu verde pe locuitor; lipsa unor spatii de recreere active si socializare. The main objective of the project is the reconversion and refunctionalisation of degraded, vacant or unused lands and areas in Galati, through investments from non-reimbursable funds and from the local budget, in order to achieve an objective of local and regional public interest to participate in increasing the quality of life in Galati Municipality. The objective will improve a number of shortcomings in the administrative territory of the municipality, namely: coherent urban regeneration of unused spaces; low level of green space share per inhabitant; lack of active recreation and socialisation.
