Klastr WASTen vznikl dne 23. 12. 2015 jako sdružení inovativních českých podniků, dodavatelů špičkových technologií na zpracování komunálního a průmyslového odpadu, a předních VaV pracovišť. Klastr WASTen má k datu podání Předběžné žádosti o dotaci celkem 19 členů, z toho 3 vědeckovýzkumné organizace.Projekt internacionalizace klastru WASTen, z.s. se zaměřuje na zapojení klastru do spolupráce v evropském výzkumném prostoru a společné zahraniční marketingové a obchodní aktivity členů klastru. a.
