Pretende-se implementar uma operação de pré-tratamento do efluente e ainda a instalação de um sistema de dosagem de ácido clorídrico diluído na superfície da lagoa de maturação, de modo a evitar a proliferação de algas. A operação garante assim um adequado tratamento dos efluentes recolhidos para uma população de 25006 habitantes servidos e contribui para a melhoria da qualidade das massas de água. (Portuguese)

It is intended to implement a pre-treatment operation of the effluent and the installation of a diluted hydrochloric acid dosage system on the surface of the ripening pond in order to avoid algae proliferation. The operation thus ensures an adequate treatment of the effluents collected for a population of 25006 inhabitants served and contributes to the improvement of the quality of the water bodies.
