Obiectivul general este restaurarea unui monument istoric din Comuna Saschiz - Cetatea de refugiu – cu denumirea anterioară Ceteatea ţărănească, și redarea lui publicului vizitator, respectiv revitalizarea cetăţii prin atragerea turiştilor, oferind astfel o experiență turistică de calitate. Pentru acest scop este necesar efectuarea lucrărilor propuse în DALI; respectiv a activităţilor prezentate în prezenta cerere de finanţare. Obiectivele specifice, prin care se poate atinge obiectivul principal se pot defini prin intervenţiile secifice necesare ale proiectului. Trebuie realizate lucrările de restaurare-consolidare a structurii zidului de apărare, lucrări de restaurare-consolidare la turnurile cetăţii, respectiv lucrări de sistematizare verticală și amenajări exterioare. La fel, se impune conservarea ruinelor capelei şi a elementelor păstrate ale incintai a II-a: casa porţii şi segmente din zidul de incintă, precum şi marcarea la nivelul terenului a urmelor de ziduri de incintă păstrate numai sub pământ. The general objective is to restore a historical monument from Saschiz Commune – the Fortress of Refuge – with the previous name Peasant Citadel, and to restore it to the visiting public, namely the revitalisation of the fortress by attracting tourists, thus offering a quality tourist experience. For this purpose it is necessary to carry out the works proposed in DALI; i.e. the activities presented in this application for funding. The specific objectives, through which the main objective can be achieved, can be defined by the necessary secific interventions of the project. The restoration-strengthening works of the defense wall structure, restoration-consolidation works on the fortress towers, respectively vertical systematisation works and exterior arrangements must be carried out. Similarly, it is necessary to preserve the ruins of the chapel and the preserved elements of the second enclosure: the house of the gate and segments of the enclosure wall, as well as marking on the ground level the traces of enclosure walls kept only under the ground.
