Obiectivul general al proiectul propus spre finantare prin Programul Operational Regional il reprezintă cresterea eficientei energetice si a gestionarii inteligente a energiei si a utilizarii energiei din surse regenerabile in infrastructura sistemului de iluminat public din Municipiul Slatina concomitent cu reducererea emisiilor de CO2 in regiune si nu in ultimul rand imbunatatirea calitatii vietii in Municipiul Slatina, prin introducerea unui nou concept al serviciului public de iluminat, un serviciu modern si eficient care sa asigure satisfacerea integrala a necesitaţilor orasului si a locuitorilor sai, in condiţii de maxima eficienta din punct de vedere al consumului energetic si de resurse si cu rezultate benefice in privinţa costurilor acestor utilităţi pentru populatie si Municipalitate, atat pe termen scurt (imediat, datorita reducerii consumului de energie electrica) cat si pe termen mediu si lung, datorita adoptarii unei tehnologii moderne, cu fiabilitate foarte mare si necesar minim de mentenanta. Realizarea noului sistem, inclusiv sistemul de management pe care il presupune acesta, va contribui la cresterea calitatii vietii in Municipiul Slatina, la crearea unui climat de siguranta si confort pentru locuitorii sai, ca si pentru toate categoriile de populatie care ajung sau tranziteaza municipiul si prin aceasta, la accelerarea procesului general de dezvoltare urbana. Proiectul se adreseaza Axei prioritare 3 “Sprijinirea tranzitiei catre o economie cu emisii scazute de carbon”, Obiectiv specific 3.1 “Sprijinirea eficientei energetice, a gestionarii inteligente a energiei si a utilizarii energiei din surse regenerabile în infrastructurile publice, inclusiv in cladirile publice, si in sectorul locuințelor; Creșterea eficientei energetice în cladirile rezidentiale, cladirile publice si sistemele de iluminat public, indeosebi a celor care inregistreaza consumuri energetice mari” deoarece isi va aduce contributia la reducerea consumului de energie electrica aferent infrastructurii publice edilitare, reduce emisiile de carbon (aferente producerii energiei electrice economisite) si promoveaza alimentarea din surse regenerabile, prin implementarea unei centrale fotovoltaice locale care să alimenteze centrul de telegestiune. Sistemul de iluminat public și serviciile urbane oferite de acesta reprezinta criterii de calitate pentru definirea nivelului de calitate a vietii in ariile urbane. El are rolul de a asigura atat orientarea si circulatia in siguranta a pietonilor si vehiculelor pe timp de noapte, cat si crearea unui ambient corespunzator in orele cu lumină naturala redusa. Acest proiect, impreuna cu alte proiecte implementate anterior sau in curs de implementare, dintre care amintim proiectele prevazute in setul de actiuni al Planului de Mobilitate Durabila, reprezinta componente ale Strategiei Municipiului Slatina privind accelerarea dezvoltarii serviciilor comunitare de utilitati publice, care are drept tinte principale: - Re (Romanian)

The implementation of the new system, including the management system it entails, will contribute to increasing the quality of life in the municipality of Slatina, to create a climate of safety and comfort for its inhabitants, as well as for all categories of population that reach or transit through the municipality and through this, to speed up the overall urban development process. The project addresses Priority Axis 3 "Supporting the transition towards a low carbon economy", Specific Objective 3.1 "Supporting energy efficiency, smart energy management and renewable energy use in public infrastructure, including public buildings, and housing; Increasing energy efficiency in residential buildings, public buildings and public lighting systems, especially those who record high energy consumption" because it will contribute to the reduction of electricity consumption related to the public building infrastructure, reduces carbon emissions (related to the production of saved electricity) and promotes the supply from renewable sources, by implementing a local photovoltaic power plant to supply the remote management centre. The public lighting system and its urban services are quality criteria for defining the quality of life in urban areas. It has the role of ensuring both the safe orientation and movement of pedestrians and vehicles at night, as well as the creation of an appropriate environment in the hours of low natural light. This project, together with other projects implemented before or in the course of implementation, among which we mention the projects provided in the action set of the Sustainable Mobility Plan, are components of the Slatina Municipality Strategy on accelerating the development of community services of public utilities, which has as main objectives: Re (English)
