The timetable for implementing the activity is 9 months, from 04/2021-12/2021. A new cycle path section III will be created through the implementation of the project.  branches H2 – with a total length of 300 meters The walkways will be created through construction, which will be supplemented with cyclocorridors in the form of pictograms with an indication of routes for cyclists that will be realised outside the project (uneligible expenditure). Cyclocorridor – horizontal traffic signs of the cycle path – will ensure the connection of the planned section III of the H2 branch with the network of cycling routes in the city of Žilina. The aim of the project is to support cycling transport and increase the share of cycling transport in the total number of passengers transported and the overall attractiveness of cycling and non-motorised transport in the city of Žilina. Thanks to the construction of the cycle path, there will be segregation of cyclists from road roads and paths to a separate path. We will improve their safety in traffic and create conditions for increasing cycling capacity to travel to employment in the city of Žilina, or cycling to centres of civic interest and civil infrastructure. Through this project we will achieve the following výsledky:Zlepšíme connectivity to civil structure locations and connectivity to nodes of economic importance (places of employment).We will increase the share of cycling in the total number of people transportedWe will improve the connection to public passenger transport terminals (public transport stop) and we will prepare better conditions for increasing the use of low-noise, low carbon and environmentally friendly transport in the region. We will reduce the share of passenger transport for transport to employment through which we will continue to develop the infrastructure through which we will continue to develop the road transport network and to the civil infrastructure centers.We will continue to develop the road transport infrastructure through the road network. The project is comprehensively prepared and is able to achieve all the objectives and indicators it commits to achieving. The project is in line with several strategic documents of cycling and non-motorised transport at urban, regional and national level. (English)

    Predmetom realizácie projektu je vybudovanie cyklotrasy v meste Žilina – konkrétne cyklotrasy H2, úsek III. a IV,, spájajúcej sídlisko Solinky a Hliny s centrom mesta, kde dôjde k prepojeniu na už existujúcu sieť cyklistických ciest.Projekt bude realizovaný jednou hlavnou aktivitou s názvom : Cyklistické komunikácie. Predpokldaný harmonogram realizácie aktivity je 9 mesiacov, od 04/2021 - 12/2021. Prostredníctvom realizácie projektu dôjde k vytvoreniu novej cyklotrasy úsek III.  vetvy H2 - v celkovej dĺžke 300 metrov Chodníky budú vytvorené prostredníctvom výstavby, ktorá bude doplnená o cyklokoridory v podobe piktogramov s označením trás pre cyklistov, ktoré budú realizované mimo projektu (neoprávnený výdavok). Cyklokoridor - vodorovné dopravné značenie cyklotrasy - zabezpečí prepojenie plánovaného úseku III. vetvy H2 so sieťou cyklotrás v meste Žilina. Cieľom projektu je Podpora cyklistickej dopravy a zvýšenie podielu cyklistickej dopravy na celkovom počte prepravených osôb a celkovej atraktivity cyklistickej a nemotorovej prepravy v meste Žilina, Vďaka výstavbe cyklochodníka dôjde k segregácií cyklistov z cestných komunikácií a chodníkov na samostatnú cestičku. Zvýši sa ich bezpečnosť v premávke a vytvoria sa podmienky pre zvýšenie kapacity cyklistickej prepravy na cestovanie do zamestnania v meste Žilina, respektíve cyklistickej prepravy k centrám občianskeho záujmu a občianskej infraštruktúry.Prostredníctvom predkladaného projektu dosiahneme nasledovné výsledky:Zlepšíme prepojenosť k miestam občianskej štruktúry a prepojenosť na uzly hospodárskeho významu (miesta zamestnania)Zvýšime podiel cyklistickej prepravy na celkovom počte prepravených osôbZlepšenie prepojenia na terminály verejnej osobnej dopravy (zástavka MHD) a vytvoríme kvalitnejšie podmienky pre nárast využívania nízkohlukovej, nízko uhlíkovej a ekologicky priaznivej prepravyZnížime podiel osobnej automobilovej dopravy na prepravu do zamestnania a k centrám občianskej infraštruktúryOddelením cyklistickej prepravy z hlavných dopravných ťahov zvýšime bezpečnosť najzraniteľnejších účastníkov cestnej premávky Dobudovaním základnej siete cyklistickej infraštruktúry sa pripravíme priestor na nadväzujúce investičné projekty, prostredníctvom ktorých budeme naďalej rozvíjať možnosti cyklistickej prepravy v mestách a blízkom regióne Na projekt plánujeme nadviazať ďalšími projektmi a etapami, prostredníctvom ktorých chceme dosiahnuť ďalší rozvoj cyklistickej infraštruktúry v meste Žilina. Projekt je pripravený komplexne a dokáže dosiahnuť všetky ciele a ukazovatele, ktoré sa zaväzuje splniť.
