The Mantinum project is a strong architectural and landscape act which must once again make the city more attractive to the citadel and ensure a complementary offer of temporary facilities. This project must be an opportunity to create new relationships between TERRA NOVA, the city of high and TERRA Vecchia, the old port. The creation of a vertical link, a centre for greenery and the restoration of the Romieu garden will make it possible to exploit the property assets of the historic centre and the citadel, to make them accessible to a wide public in synergy with the new tourist strategy of a destination labelled ‘town of art and history’.
