The purpose of the project is to revitalise the area of the inner block of G. Lannuriena, situated within the youngest housing estate in Žilina – Hájik. The Hájik settlement is located west of the city centre. It is situated on the natural terrace above the plant, from where there is a picturesque view of the town and the Mala Fatra Mountains. They are solved p. No. 1472/1 and 1472/208 with a common area of parcels 11216 m². The 2 parcels are wholly owned by the applicant (LV No 1170). Although the Hájik housing estate – part of G. Lannuriena is an attractive location in terms of urban housing, its original solution currently lacks sufficient elements of green infrastructure to reduce the impact of climate change and air and noise pollution in the city. Air pollution in the city of Žilina is caused by energy sources (mainly Žilinská teplárenská, a.s.), the automotive industry, chemical operations, local heating and in the city center mainly intensive transport. At the same time, the intrablock does not currently provide the required space for leisure and sports activity to its inhabitants. For these reasons, it is necessary today to address the current state of the interior by revitalising the premises with the application of ecological principles of creation and protection of greenery. In the context of planting of greenery, the damaged concrete area will be removed and the grassland area of 110 m² will be replaced with a lawn area of 110 m², the destroyed used lawn in the area of 160 m² will also be repaired, the planting of new trees 9 pieces, planting shrubs in the number of 280 pieces of seedlings, climbing 11 pcs of seedlings and creating an accumulation green roof above the shelter for moms at the pitch of 16 m². For this reason, the city of Žilina decided to completely reconstruct the premises of the inner block. Construction work will include the repair of existing paved areas and the construction of new paths and sports facilities. Within the small architecture, elements will be created that would make the stay and movement of residents of the addressed part of the intrablock more comfortable. An important supporting point of the proposal is planting greenery. In terms of content, the following works will be: Vegetation treatments: planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, onions and the foundation of grassy areas- a growing roof and climbing walls.Fortified areas: walkways, leisure and sports zones Small architecture and mobile phones: park benches, garbage bins, shelter, mini amphitheatre and small mobile phones for children and parentsPlanned investment of the revitalisation of the G. Lannuriena in Žilina will bring physical, psychological, emotional and socio-economic benefits for the individual and society by combining health-recreational and ecological-stabilising functions. All planned measures of the project will be directed towards an efficient and sustainable use of the landscape. Investments in green infrastructure are important from an economic point of view, such as maintaining nature’s ability to deliver the benefits of so-called ecosystem services. The solution thus defined will fulfil the stated objective of the project: “Improvement of environmental aspects in the urban area of Žilina by building elements of green infrastructure in the Hájik housing estate”.The project’s chosen objective is directly based on the specific objective 4.3.1. Improving environmental aspects in cities and urban areas by building green infrastructure elements and adapting urbanised environments to climate change, as well as by introducing system elements to reduce air and noise pollution. The subject of the planned implementation will be exclusively construction works, which are necessary for the successful implementation of 1 main activity: “Regeneration of the interior block on G.Lannuriena Street in Žilina with ecological principles of greenery creation and protection” and to achieve results in the form of a measurable indicator of the project: ‘Open spaces created or renewed in urban areas’: 11216 m². Expenditure on construction works is detailed in the attached construction budget and is all included in the eligible expenditure of the project.Expenditure on PD, construction supervision, publicity and management will be provided by the applicant with its own capacities and paid from its own resources, therefore they are not part of the project budget. The schedule of the project is planned for 03/2020-09/2020, taking into account the complexity of the construction works as well as the emphasis on the necessary vegetation modifications. The submission of the grant application will be followed by the implementation of the PP process, in accordance with the legislation in force. Once the contractor has been selected for construction work, the submitted project will be implemented. (English) | |||||||||||||||

Riešené sú p.č. 1472/1 a 1472/208 so spoločnou výmerou parciel 11 216 m2. Znečistenie ovzdušia v meste Žilina je spôsobené energetickými zdrojmi ( hlavne Žilinská teplárenská, a.s.), automobilovým priemyslom, chemickými prevádzkami, lokálnymi kúreniskami a v centre mesta hlavne intenzívnou dopravou. Stavebné práce budú zahŕňať opravu už existujúcich spevnených plôch a vybudovanie nových chodníkov a športovísk. V rámci drobnej architektúry budú vytvorené prvky, ktoré by spríjemňovali pobyt a pohyb obyvateľov riešenej časti vnútrobloku. Dôležitým nosným bodom návrhu je výsadba zelene.Z hľadiska obsahu pôjde o nasledujúce práce: Vegetačné úpravy: výsadba stromov, krov, trvaliek, cibuľovín a založenie trávnatých plôch- vegetačná strecha a popínavých stien.Spevnené plochy: chodníky, oddychové a športové zóny Drobná architektúra a mobiliár: parkové lavičky, odpadkové koše, prístrešok, mini amfiteáter a drobný mobiliár pre deti a rodičovPlánované investície revitalizácie vnútrobloku G. Lannuriena v Žiline prinesú fyzický, psychologický, emocionálny a sociálno-hospodársky prínos pre jednotlivca a spoločnosť a to vzájomným spájaním zdravotno-rekreačných a ekologicko-stabilizačných funkcií. Všetky plánované opatrenia projektu budú smerovať k efektívnemu a trvalo udržateľnému využívaniu krajiny. (Slovak)
