The GOVNET Redesign project is developed on the basis of the requirement to increase the security of the GOVNET network, to save costs and to freely select the provider of transport services according to the best offer, to ensure that the participating organisations’ communication security is enhanced through the new Govnet service, which provides the possibility to carry out secure encrypted videoconferencing. This is a major step that will increase the current security of the GOVNET network by creating an IPSec tunnel. An encrypted communication will be created in a transport network that delivers secure data transfer for all target groups, which are employees of individual sectors. Projekt Redizajn siete GOVNET sa vypracováva na základe požiadavky zvýšenia bezpečnosti siete GOVNET, šetrenia nákladov a slobodného výberu poskytovateľa transportných služieb podľa najlepšej ponuky, zabezpečenia zvýšenia bezpečnosti komunikácie participujúcich organizácií prostredníctvom novej služby GOVNETU, ktorá poskytuje možnosť realizovania bezpečných šifrovaných videokonferencií. Ide o zásadný krok, ktorý zvýši súčasnú bezpečnosť siete Govnet vytvorením IPSec tunela. Vytvorí sa šifrovaná komunikácia v transportnej sieti, ktorá prináša bezpečný prenos dát pre všetky cieľové skupiny, ktorými sú zamestnanci jednotlivých rezortov.
