The subject of the project is the modernisation of the transfer node on Masaryk Street in Preov. From the request of public transport is a key and most frequented connecting point in the city and in the region. Three modes of transport meet here, namely public transport, bus transport and rail transport. Urban public transport has two stops, which are essential on the carrier track of public transport. There are 4 trolleybus lines and 14 bus lines. Suburban bus and rail transport have their main stations in the city. Urban public transport carried 3 520 thousand passengers through a connecting node in 2016, which is DPMP 32 082 thousand, 10.97 % of all public transport passengers per year. Bus transport transported 1 874 thousand people through the connecting node and 1 917 thousand of its clients by rail. In 2016, a total of 7 311 thousand passengers traveled through the transfer node. The main objective of the project is to increase the attractiveness and competitiveness of public passenger transport by improving the infrastructure of the transfer hub, including improving passenger awareness. The modernisation of the node will consist of reconstructing the underpass and stop of the public transport in the Slovak Republic, the stop of the public transport near the SAD, paved areas, road reconstruction, construction of bicycle stands near the Slovak Republic, reconstruction of LV distributions and transfer of HV distributions. The project also includes an escalator leading from the underpass to the stop of the Slovak Republic and elevations leading from the underpass to both stops and safety railings, which will be located in the middle of the road. The project will be implemented in a single phase called Modernisation of the Transfer Node”. The start of implementation of the main activity is set at 11/2017 after the planned signature of the contract with the external contractor. The expected end of the implementation of the main activity of the project is set for the deadline of 12/2018. The expected duration of the main activity of the project is 14 months. Predmetom realizácie projektu je modernizácia prestupného uzla na Masarykovej ulici v Preove. Z hžadiska verejnej dopravy sa jedná o kžúčový a najfrekventovanejí prestupný bod v meste a v kraji. Stretávajú sa tu tri dopravné módy a to mestská hromadná doprava, autobusová doprava a elezničná doprava. Mestská hromadná doprava má tu dve zástavky, ktoré sú zásadné na nosnej trati MHD. Prechádzajú ňou 4 trolejbusové linky a 14 autobusových liniek. Prímestská autobusová doprava a elezničná doprava tu majú svoje hlavné stanice v meste. Mestská hromadná doprava prepravila cez prestupný uzol v roku 2016 3 520 tisíc cestujúcich, čo je pri ročnom počte vetkých prepravených cestujúcich DPMP 32 082 tisíc, 10,97 % vetkých cestujúcich MHD. Autobusová doprava prepravila cez prestupný uzol 1 874 tisíc osôb a elezničná doprava 1 917 tisíc svojich klientov. V roku 2016 tak cestovalo cez prestupný uzol spolu 7 311 tisíc cestujúcich. Hlavným ciežom projektu je zvýi atraktivitu a konkurencieschopnos verejnej osobnej dopravy prostredníctvom zlepenie infratruktúry prestupného uzla vrátane zlepenia informovanosti cestujúcich. Modernizácia uzla bude pozostáva z rekontrukcie podchodu a zastávky MHD pri SR, zastávky MHD pri SAD, spevnených plôch, rekontrukcie vozovky, vybudovania stojanov na bicykle pri SR, rekontrukcie NN rozvodov a prekládky VN rozvodov. Súčasou projektu je aj eskalátor vedúci z podchodu na zástavku SR a výahy vedúce z podchodu na obidve zastávky a bezpečnostné cestné zábradlie, ktoré bude umiestnené v strede vozovky. Projekt bude realizovaný v rámci jednej etapy s názvom Modernizácia prestupného uzla". Začiatok realizácie hlavnej aktivity je stanovený na 11/2017 po plánovanom podpise zmluvy s externým dodávatežom. Predpokladaný koniec realizácie hlavnej aktivity projektu je stanovený na termín 12/2018. Predpokladaná dĺka trvania hlavnej aktivity projektu je 14 mesiacov.
