Obiectivul general al proiectului consta in cresterea eficientei energetice a sistemului de iluminat public din municipiul Vatra Dornei, prin implementarea unor masuri specifice care presupun inlocuirea lampilor cu un consum mare de energie electrica si instalarea unui sistem de telegestiune modern, avand ca efecte principale pe langa scaderea consumului de energie, in mod implicit, scaderea emisiilor de bioxid de carbon si cresterea atractivitatii statiunii balneoclimaterice.
