Protejarea și refacerea biodiversității prin implementarea măsurilor de conservare din planul de management aprobat în aria naturală protejată ROSCI0376 Râul Olt între Mărunţei şi Turnu Măgurele. Prin implementarea planului de management pentru situl Natura 2000 ROSCI0376 Râul Olt între Mărunţei şi Turnu Măgurele, proiectul contribuie in mod direct la realizarea obiectivului specific al programului - (OS) 4.1 „Creşterea gradului de protecţie şi conservare a biodiversităţii şi refacerea ecosistemelor degradate”, promoveaza actiuni ce contribuie la indeplinirea obiectivelor Strategiei UE pentru biodiversitate 2020, Cadrul de Actiuni Prioritare pentru Natura 2000, Strategia Nationala si Planul de Actiune pentru Conservarea Biodiversitatii 2014-2020, ce iau in considerare nevoile concrete de protectie a biodiversitatii din Romania.
