The general objective of the project is to facilitate the transition from education to work of 70 PhD students and 30 postdoctoral students in the fields of electrical engineering research, energy engineering, electonic engineering, telecommunications and information technologies, computers and information technology and systems engineering, through their participation in entrepreneurial training programs, complementary courses modules, professional guidance and counselling, as well as learning activities at a potential workplace/research/innovation, developed in partnership with economic agents and actors in the field of RDI, with a focus on economic sectors with competitive potential idenified according to NCNS and areas of intelligent specialisation according to SNCDI, in support of strengthening and increasing the quality of education and training systems. The proposed project has a duration of 18 months and contributes to the achievement of the specific objective of POCU through the following main elements: facilitating the access of university graduates to a job following participation in learning activities in a potential job/research/innovation and developing training programs for the target group with impact on economic growth. At the same time, taking into account the fields of study of PhD students and postdoctoral students, O.S.6.13. from the applicant’s guide is reached because their specialisation falls within the fields of intelligent specialisation according to SNCDI 2014-2020. By supporting the target group and creating partnership links with institutions/economic agents active in the field of RDI, the project contributes to facilitating the insertion of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers into the labour market and to increasing the relevance of study programs. Investment in training productive and innovative researchers has a significant role in promoting technological transfer to the private environment. Thus, the project meets this goal by implementing the following actions: providing entrepreneurial training programs, counselling services and professional guidance, complementary modules targeting transversal competences, implementation of systems for collecting and evaluating feedback on employability, practical research internships, scholarships/awards/mobilities. The project is in line with the objective of the priority axis – Education and Competences, Investment Priority – 10.iV, O.S. 6.13. by implementing the proposed activities that contribute to the adaptation of educational programs (drafting the 5 educational plans proposals for the doctoral study programme), facilitating the transition from education to work and strengthening education systems (providing practical internships with applicative component) but also increasing the number of graduates in tertiary education. Investitia in formarea de cercetatori productivi si inovativi are un rol semnificativ in promovarea transferului tehnologic catre mediul privat.
