Viljandi mnt (Valdeku tn - Pärnu mnt) kergliiklustee rajamisega ühendatakse Pärnu mnt ääres olev kergliiklustee Harjumaa kergliiklusteede võrgustiku projekti raames Kiili valla poolt rajatud Viljandi maantee kergliiklusteega.Uue kergliiklustee lõiguga tagatakse Tallinna tõmbekeskuste ühendamine kergliiklusteede võrgustiku kaudu Tallinna ümber kiiresti kasvanud asulatega Kiili vallas. With the construction of a light traffic road at Viljandi mnt (Valdeku tn – Pärnu mnt) the light traffic road on Pärnu mnt will be connected to the pedestrian road of Viljandi highway established by Kiili rural municipality within the framework of the project of the Harjumaa network of walkways. The new section of the pedestrian road ensures that the centres of attraction of Tallinn are connected through the network of light traffic routes with the fast-growing settlements around Tallinn in Kiili rural municipality.
