Kliimamuutustest tingitud sagenenud äärmuslikud ilmastikunähtused ning metsa- ja maastikupõlengud põhjustatavad üha suuremat kahju keskkonnale ja isikute varale. Päästeameti kasutuses on ligi 200 eriotstarbelist päästesõidukit, millest lähiaastatel pooled ületavad optimaalse kasutusaja. Hädaolukordadele tõhusalt reageerimiseks ja tagajärgede likvideerimiseks s oetatakse projekti toel vähemalt 83 uut multifunktsionaalset päästesõidukit. (Estonian)

Increased extreme weather events and forest and landscape fires caused by climate change are causing increasing damage to the environment and the property of individuals. The Rescue Board has nearly 200 special life-saving vehicles, half of which will exceed the optimal life span in the coming years. For effective emergency response and consequence management, at least 83 new multi-function life-saving vehicles will be supported by the project. (English)
