Ķekava region is one of the few growing regions in Latvia with a clearly marked trend in population growth. The aim of the project is to improve the learning environment in general education institutions of Ķekava municipality – Ķekava Secondary School and Balozi Secondary School and solve problems regarding the current insufficient number of educational places in Balozi city. Within the framework of the project: In Ķekava Secondary School, modern information and communication technology solutions will be implemented, including the installation of mobile workplaces for students to work with computers (5 mobile computer classes), in the Balozi Secondary School a 2 floor extension with the following premises will be built: 12 classrooms for 300 students, including natural science rooms (physics, chemistry), act hall with promotion, dining room, methodological room, sanitary facilities and auxiliary rooms (heat room, warehouse inventory, wardrobe, dressing rooms, corridors, etc.); In order to provide ergonomic learning environment, information and communication technology solutions will be introduced, including the installation of mobile workplaces for students to work with computers (5 mobile computer classes), the existing sports area will be rebuilt in accordance with the requirements of normative acts, educational programme “Sports”, interest education programs. The total indicative amount of the funding – EUR 9264004,32, including ERDF funding – EUR 3178193, the state budget grant to local governments – EUR 84128,64 and municipal funding – EUR 6001682,68. Ķekavas novads ir viens no nedaudzajiem augošajiem novadiem Latvijā ar skaidri iezīmētu iedzīvotāju skaita pieauguma tendenci. Projekta mērķis ir uzlabot mācību vidi Ķekavas novada pašvaldības vispārējās izglītības iestādēs – Ķekavas vidusskolā un Baložu vidusskolā un atrisināt problēmas saistībā ar pašreizējo nepietiekošo vispārējās izglītības iestādē izglītojamo mācību vietu skaitu Baložu pilsētā. Projekta ietvaros:Ķekavas vidusskolā tiks ieviesti mūsdienīgi informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju risinājumi, tajā skaitā ierīkojot mobilās darba vietas izglītojamajiem darbam ar datoru (5 mobilās datorklases), Baložu vidusskolā tiks izbūvēta piebūve 2 stāvos ar šādām telpām: 12 mācību klašu telpas 300 izglītojamiem, tajā skaitā dabaszinību kabineti (fizika, ķīmija), aktu zāle ar paaugstinājumu, ēdamzāle,metodiskā telpa, sanitārie mezgli un palīgtelpas (siltummezgls, noliktavas inventāra novietnei, garderobe, ģērbtuves, gaiteņi u.c.); skolotāju telpas, ventkamera, palīgtelpas (inventāra novietnei, gaiteņi u.c.), nodrošinot ergonomisku mācību vidi, tiks ieviesti informācijas un komunikāciju tehnoloģiju risinājumi, tajā skaitā ierīkojot mobilās darba vietas izglītojamajiem darbam ar datoru (5 mobilās datorklases), tiks pārbūvēts esošais sporta laukums atbilstoši normatīvo aktu, izglītības programmas “Sports”, interešu izglītības programmu prasībām. Kopējais indikatīvais finansējuma apmērs – 9 264 004,32 EUR, tajā skaitā ERAF finansējums – 3 178 193 EUR, valsts budžeta dotācija pašvaldībām – 84 128,64 EUR un pašvaldības finansējums – 6 001 682,68 EUR. Projekta realizēšanas laiks ir provizoriski no 2018.gada jūnija līdz 2022.gada 30.jūnijam, kopā 49 mēneši. (Latvian)
