The aim of the project is to reduce the risk of flooding in the rural municipalities of Brīvzemnieki, Alojas and Staicele, Aloja district, to increase the safety of the parish inhabitants, thus promoting the development of entrepreneurship in the territory and improving the quality of life of the inhabitants. The main activities of the project are watercooks of national importance Jogla, USIK code 5416:01, pik. 32/55-148/00, 204/10-310/55 renewal. This includes designing, execution of construction works, construction supervision, author supervision and project management. As a result of the project, the watercourse of the state importance will be restored in the territory of 233 ha affected by flood threats, reducing the risk of flooding for 89 residents of Freelanders, Aloja and Staicele parish. After the implementation of the project, the value, attractiveness and productive use of the territory will be increased. The total cost of project implementation is EUR 912482,74, of which ERDF support amount is 85 % or EUR 775610,33. Project implementation is planned to be completed within 30 months from the conclusion of the contract on project implementation. The project’s supported activities – the preliminary works for the initiation of construction started in June 2016 and the construction project was started in July 2017 before signing the contract on the implementation of the project.     Projekta mērķis ir samazināt plūdu apdraudējumu Brīvzemnieku, Alojas un Staiceles pagastā, Alojas novadā, palielināt pagastu iedzīvotāju drošību, tādējādi veicinot uzņēmējdarbības attīstību teritorijā un uzlabojot iedzīvotāju dzīves kvalitāti. Projekta galvenās darbības ir valsts nozīmes ūdensnotekas Jogla, ŪSIK kods 5416:01, pik. 32/55 -148/00, 204/10 -310/55 atjaunošana. Tai skaitā projektēšana, būvdarbu veikšana, būvuzraudzība, autoruzraudzība un projekta vadība. Projekta izpildes rezultātā tiks atjaunota valsts nozīmes ūdensnoteka Jogla, samazinot plūdu draudus 89 Brīvzemnieku, Alojas un Staiceles pagasta iedzīvotājiem plūdu draudu skartajā 233 ha teritorijā. Pēc projekta īstenošanas tiks palielināta dabas teritoriju vērtība, pievilcīgums un nodrošināta produktīva teritorijas izmantošana. Projekta īstenošanas kopējās izmaksas ir 912482,74 EUR, no kuriem ERAF atbalsta apjoms ir 85% jeb 775610,33 EUR. Projekta īstenošanu plānots pabeigt 30 mēnešu laikā no līguma par projekta īstenošanu noslēgšanas. Projekta atbalstāmās darbības - priekšdarbi būvniecības ierosināšanai ir uzsākti 2016. gada jūnijā un būvprojektēšana ir uzsākta 2017. gada jūlijā pirms līguma par projekta īstenošanu parakstīšanu.
