The overall aim of the project is to strengthen the institutional capacity of Riga Stradins University by developing research infrastructure in the field of smart specialisation in Latvia – Biomedicine, medical technologies, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology. The specific aim of the project is to develop research infrastructure by establishing the Prepared Drug Form Laboratory, thus creating a platform for the development of research in pharmacy for solving problems of economic interest. The project complies with the RSU Development Strategy and the Latvian Smart Specialisation Strategy (hereinafter – RIS3) economic transformation direction and growth priority – “Biomedicine, medical technology, biopharmaceuticals and biotechnology”. According to OECD Classification, the project corresponds to 3.1. base medicine.A laboratory for prepared pharmaceutical forms (hereinafter – GZFL) will be established within the project, which will include development rooms of solid forms and standardisation rooms. The GZFL will be built in a new building on 21 Consul Street. Within the framework of the project it is planned to develop construction project, construction works, construction supervision and author supervision, as well as purchase, installation and training of equipment and equipment (including work places for scientific staff).The project will result in laboratories with support rooms of 833 m², purchased equipment and equipment for GZFL and EU programme Horizon 2020 project “Baltic Biomaterials Excellence Centre” (BBCE) project project “Baltic Biomaterial Excellence Centre” (BBCE), as well as scientific staff work places will be created.The total costs of the project are EUR 4390862.00, from the EU Programme Horizon 2020 project “Baltic Biomaterial Excellence Centre” (BBCE) will be co-financed by EUR 3639538.00. Projekta vispārējais mērķis ir stiprināt Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes institucionālo kapacitāti, attīstot pētniecības infrastruktūru Latvijas viedās specializācijas jomā – Biomedicīna, medicīnas tehnoloģijas, biofarmācija un biotehnoloģija. Projekta specifiskais mērķis ir attīstīt pētniecības infrastruktūru, izveidojot Gatavo zāļu formu laboratoriju, tādējādi radot platformu pētniecības attīstībai farmācijā tautsaimniecībai aktuālu problēmu risināšanai .RSU realizēs ar saimniecisko darbību nesaistītu projektu. Projekts atbilst RSU Attīstības stratēģijai un Latvijas viedās specializācijas stratēģijā noteiktajam (turpmāk – RIS3) tautsaimniecības transformācijas virzienam un izaugsmes prioritātei – “Biomedicīna, medicīnas tehnoloģija, biofarmācija un biotehnoloģija”. Atbilstoši OECD klasifikatoram projekts atbilst 3.1. bāzes medicīna.Projekta ietvaros tiks izveidota Gatavo zāļu formu laboratorija (turpmāk- GZFL), kas ietvers cieto zāļu formu izstrādes telpas un standartizācijas telpas. GZFL tiks veidota jaunā ēkā Konsula ielā 21. Projekta ietvaros plānota būvprojekta izstrāde, būvdarbi, būvuzraudzība un autoruzraudzība, kā arī iekārtu un aprīkojuma (ieskaitot zinātnisko darbinieku darba vietas) iegāde, uzstādīšana un personāla apmācība.Projekta rezultātā tiks izveidotas laboratorijas ar palīgtelpām 833 m2 apmērā, iegādātas iekārtas un aprīkojums GZFL un ES programmas “Apvārsnis 2020” projekta “Baltijas Biomateriālu ekselences centrs” (BBCE) vajadzībām, kā arī izveidotas zinātnisko darbinieku darba vietas.Projekta kopējās izmaksas ir 4 390 862.00 EUR, no kā 3 639 538.00 EUR ir Eiropas Reģionālās attīstības fonda līdzfinansējums, 531 780.00 EUR valsts budžeta līdzfinansējums, 219 544.00 EUR RSU līdzfinansējums. Plānotais projekta ilgums ir 73 mēneši. Projektu plānots uzsākt 2017.gada oktobrī. (Latvian)
