A escolha dos Cursos Profissionais de foi motivada maioritariamente pelo facto de haver uma grande procura pelos jovens e seus encarregados de educação de cursos profissionalizantes, cuja procura pelo mercado de trabalho é positiva. Outro fator que também contribuiu para esta escolha, foi o facto de a Escola se encontrar localizada num concelho que tem vindo a dar relevância à sua modernização, permitindo a instalação de várias empresas.
