Głównym celem projektu jest uzyskanie 3019,8 kW dodatkowej zdolności wytwarzania energii elektrycznej i cieplnej ze źródeł odnawialnych. Aby spełnić ten cel planuje się zakup instalacji fotowoltaicznych, kotłów na biomasę, gruntowych pomp ciepła oraz powietrznych pomp ciepła.W ramach niniejszego projektu zostanie zamontowanych 584 instalacji fotowoltaicznych, 20 kotłów na biomasę, 43 gruntowe pompy ciepła oraz 90 powietrznych pomp ciepła dla mieszkańców Gminy Kolbuszowa i Gminy Dzikowiec.
