Společnost Lom Deštno a.s. se zabývá těžbou a zpracováním granodioritu ve stejnojmenném lomu u Sedlčan. Celý technologický proces těžby a zpracování kamene je postaven na starší technologii, která využívá jako zdroj energie naftu. Prostřednictvím tohoto projektu dojde k modernizaci jednotlivých částí technologického procesu, tak aby technologie odpovídala současným energetickým standardům.
